We specialise in organising both social and corporate events for all occasions. From team building to product launches, conferences or a great night out, Merthyr Bowls Club provides everything you need to create a truly memorable event for your staff, colleagues or friends.
Whether you want a relaxed Christmas party or a competitive team building experience, Merthyr Bowls Club and our spectacular river views, is sure to impress. Package your Barefoot Bowls with one of our fabulous BBQ menus for an affordable and hassle free Corporate event. Unfortunately the Merthyr Club does not have a meeting room. However our club partners with Events On Oxlade next door for hire, equipped with AV equipment, projectors, microphone, lectern, tables and chairs.
We are unable to facilitate any Children’s Birthday parties or Christenings. Children love space to run around and due to our limited space and for your children’s safety, we have identified that our Club is not a suitable venue.

Package your bowls with one of our famous BBQs or contact us with your requirements and let us create the perfect event for your office.

There’s no better way to celebrate your special occasion than taking advantage of the beautiful Queensland weather and having a BBQ and a cold drink while playing a game of bowls by the Brisbane River. We specialise in organising both social and corporate events for all occasions.
Barefoot Bowls is a great way to kick off a function. Everyone will enjoy having fun in the outdoors on the green.

THE IMPORTANT STUFF
Deposits
To book 8 or more people requires a deposit of $80 is required or your booking is not confirmed.
To book 10 or more people requires a deposit of $100 is required or your booking is not confirmed.
For groups more than 10, we will advise a deposit amount.
Please let us know if food will be included.
Cancellations
5 Business Days Notice is required or your deposit is forfeited.
If the Greenkeeper defers play due to weather we will do our best to find an alternative date that works for you. You will be notified via email.
Rainchecks are allowed when available.
